GUN-DOG TRAINING CLINIC
From Starting puppies to advanced field work, professional dog trainer Joe DeMarkis will help you develop a training program that will take your hunting companion to a higher level of performance.
Classes meet at Rivers Outdoor Education Center, New Ringgold PA, with all field work being conducted on Joe’s private training grounds.
Our clinics are separated into two classifications of dogs.
BEGINNER CLINIC – These classes are for dogs that have not been exposed to, or have had very limited exposure to birds and gunfire. In these clinics we will expose the dogs to a variety of cover, introduce them to birds and gunfire and work on retrieving and ground coverage
STARTED DOGS – These classes are for dogs that have had birds shot over them and are fairly confident when hunting in a variety of cover. We will be working on control, steadying, proper delivery, marking and proper ground coverage
